In the bible, many creatures and children are sacrificed to God. I would like to pay God similar respect as my Biblical Heroes did. What is the best creature to kill in the name of God and how should I do it?

I'm afraid that people today aren't as close to God as they were in the olden days because we've abandoned God's favorite practices. What are your views on sacrifice for God?

Well I think you shouldn't do it because sacrifices are no longer necessary thanks to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, which was the last sacrifice. I don't think God likes sacrifices because of Hebrews 10:6 and there is no sacrifice that can be offered that is greater than our Lord Jesus Christ(Ephesians 5:2). Why do you think blood sacrifices are one of God's favorite practices?
The answer about sacrifices is in the book of Hebrews. I ask you to read that entire book because I don't think that I'll explain it well.
Jesus is immortal(Hebrews 7:26, Hebrews 7:28) which is why the sacrifice of his blood and body can wash away all sins forever(Hebrews 9:14, Hebrews 9:15, and Hebrews 10:10).
I think the sacrifices God wants us to make now are personal(Matthew 16:24). Are you willing to sacrifice your tv time to spend with GOD? Are you willing to sacrifice your internet time to spend with GOD? Are you willing to sacrifice your video game time to spend with GOD? Are you willing to sacrifice the time you spend with your loved ones and friends to spend with GOD? Are you willing to sacrifice whatever it is you do everyday, so that you spend the majority of your day with GOD?????? Which sacrifices do you think GOD would enjoy most, those or that of animals(which TO ME seems like an insult to the sacrifice of JESUS)?
