No he will not. He went straight to hell. He took his life and his life was not his to take. Anyone who commits suicide automatically goes to hell. Suicide is murder thought it's killing your own self, it's still killing. If he would have repented and not commited suicide, then he would have recieved forgiveness.

Hi,

As we see in Matthew 27: 1 to 5; Judas did repent and confessed his sin, but only to the chief priests and the elders of Pontius Pilate. Judas did not ask for forgiveness for his sin; and the person he should have asked forgiveness from was to Jesus.
Now if you read John 20: verses 20 to 22; in verse 22 it says "And when he had said this, he breathed on them, (the disciples) and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost". Judas had already hanged himself even before Jesus was put to death, so he was not with the other disciples when Jesus gave them the Holy Ghost. So, no, Judas would not have gone to heaven. He goes to hell; but God already knew that Judas would betray Jesus, so his name would not have been written in the Lambs book of life. Revelation 20: 15
Someone else had answered that people who commit suicide automatically go to hell. This is not true.
Of course God does not want anyone to kill themselves, but if they were filled with the Holy Ghost; then of course they would go to heaven.
I hope this answers your questions!!

1 Corinthians 6:19 "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own"

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 "Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple."

Dictionary: Suicide :to kill (oneself).

Exodus 20:13
"thou shalt not kill"

Kill: to destroy; do away with; extinguish

I'm sorry, I have a problem with this. If a person truly has the Holy Spirit within himself, the person will be filled with the joy of God. This person will have joy, happiness, a reason and a purpose to live. Sorrow, depression, and opression belongs to the enemy.

Jesus did not go through everything He went through so we can end up taking our own lives. It's like saying that a person who is saved and has the Holy Spirit can smoke pot, rob banks, commit adultery, lie his teeth off, curse out their parents, and get drunk on the weekends, but they are okay because they were saved. These are all breaking God's commandments. Yes we are under grace, but God is God, sin is sin, and laws are laws. No, I'm sorry, I don't feel that is correct. We have to live Christian lives, we have to endure.

I'm sorry, but I speak from experience as a person who twice attempted suicide. I know how I felt then and how I feel now. The darkness that over takes a suicidal person is immense. A true Christian has light, for we are the light of the world. If a person commits suicide, they do not love themselves, and God is love. So they do not have Christ in their hearts.

1 John 3:9 "No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God."

If a born again christian continues to sin, then this person needs to re-evaluate his salvation, for a true christian will never do anything to sadden, gieve, or disappoint God in any way, form, or fashion.

And because I am a christian, I ask that you please forgive my overzealousness in this matter.

Someone told me this one time and it opened up my understanding when I had the same question.

The Bible says thou shalt not kill. However God will forgive a person who commits this sin, he can and will forgive a murderer, he forgave Paul.

However Paul was alive to receive God's grace and mercy and salvation. When a person kills them self, they do not have that opportunity to ask for forgiveness because they are already dead. Where there's life there is hope. There would be no hope for that person. They would be unforgived murderers.
