I have been sexually harassed at work and stood up for my self. The bosses are accusing me of being initiator and its very untrue. Do I continue to fight for whats right with a lawyer or put it in Gods hands?
Extra Question Details:
They are accusing me because they didn't follow procedures to begin with. I just don't know if God is using me to make things right. Or is it a test? Its been going on for well over a year. I am tired.

Definitely sorry to hear what you have gone through.
As for what you should do, the Bible speaks on similar issues like this:
1. We are told in 1 Corinthians 6:1-6 about "lawsuits among believers." Basically, we are told to first try and settle disputes or problems among other believers. However, I have no idea if the person that did that to you is even a believer or if they'd be willing to go this route, which leads me to option #2:
2. We are also told to obey our human written laws in Romans 13:1-7. I may go this route since it has been over a year and hire the lawyer.
3. Forgive the person. May be hard to do, but people are capable.
As for what you should do, I would ask God for wisdom concerning this matter. Though it is possible to both forgive but still hire a lawyer just to make sure they don't do anything to you again. I, personally, would take that route.
Thank you so much for your input! It is a great help! I will definitly read the scripture you posted. Through this whole thing I have been focused on how they did me wrong and have forgotten all about forgiveness! My heart has been so heavy and I couldn't figure out why it was getting to me so bad. I know you are supposed to forgive and I have preached that to others before. It's funny how quick you forget when it comes to your own life. I will definitely take your advice. I think a little forgiveness might take me a long way! Thank you so much again. It's good to get a real christians opinion on this. If it wasn't for people like you this world would be a much crazier place. You are in my prayers.
Whether this is a test or not, I do not know. Please remember early on in Genesis 15:1 where the Lord tells Abram, "Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward." Follow the Lord and serve him faithfully, and he will protect you.
they are breaking God's law and mans law by harrassing you . You have every right to a lawsuit. You can still forgive them and seek justice
When you forgive someone it doesn't come with strings attached. You can't forgive someone and then sue for x amount of money every year. Its not really forgiving them then is it?
It's over with now! I didn't sue. But I did negotiate a move and got some of my leave back. I could have gotten alot more but that was all I was worried about. I still don't like the people that done this to me but I pray for them. I have found that I am alot stronger now because of this and for that I am grateful. God has given me so much to be thankful for. Still trying to completely forgive upper management for ruining my name but I'm getting there! When you put it in God's hand he will take care of it!
