if he is dishonest , then sure file seperatly, anywas heres the thing you should ask God first and foremost fortithing, then talk to your husband about it, tithing isnt mandatory, im sure you dont wanna put your pastors kids through college or give him a swimming pool or a new ride with big spinning rims O_o?..
I'll have to disagree a bit. The New Testament only does away with the Old Testament's 10% of income requirement (1 Corinthians 16:2). But it does not do away with tithing as a whole. I understand what govie is saying but I also wouldn't assume that all pastors are going to use it in this way. True, some have in the past, but remember the main purpose is to support the church, and pastors and ministers have to make a living, too.
I think that it would be alright to ask him because he is your husband but if he says no I think you should still tithe GOD's ten percent to your church because tithing has power to change situations around like GOD helping your husband to become Christian and always saying yes to you tithing GOD's ten percent, plus GOD might put in his heart to give you more money or even allow you to help him control the money.
