Some of them are frauds, then again..even ones not on tv can be frauds.
They're sinners, just like any other normal human being even if they're not on t.v.
To answer your question worm25, there are some false prophets out there who do evangelise that you shouldnt trust Matthew 24:11 and Matthew 24:24
But then there are evangelists out there who do speak the word of God and you are able to trust.
The only way to tell is if they are NOT speaking from the Word of God "The Bible" and if they do NOT believe that Jesus is the son of God then dont listen to their sermon.
Quickest way to tell if you are listening to a Christian evangelist which are the ones you should be listening to is that they often start with a prayer and finish with a prayer ending it 'In Jesus' Name' as Jesus is the way, the truth and the life John 14:6
I have a hard time with this question also, but I do not believe that if it comes from the BiBle but out of their mouth and used for omly profit that one can always believe what comes from ones mouth as you know even
