Why are animals "insignificant"?

God is supposed to love everything or whatever so why would he create creatures who are at the complete mercy of humans, then not even let them enjoy Heaven since it's supposed to be super awesome there. It just seems to me bogus and unfair, if he can do anything why would he make animals who often live miserable lives on Earth then not even let them enjoy the afterlife. This is not a joke and I'm legitimately trying to understand bc it's something I have a really hard time accepting.

well from what i understand there will be animals in heaven but i'm not sure if they where the same souls from earth. So there may be a chance that they do go to heaven.
