Why do I feel uncomfortable with going to church?
Extra Question Details:
I've only been to church a couple times in my life, and my mom wants to start taking me, my sis, and my brother to church. But why is it that every time my parents talk about God and going to church, I seem to feel uncomfortable? I believe in God and want to start going to church, but I always feel uncomfortable.

Have you asked the Lord into your heart yet. Are you saved? If not that could be the reason, if you have accepted the Lord as your Savior, then I suggest you beging to read the bible and pray. This will beging to develope a relationship between you and God, to the point that it won't feel so foriegn.
Don't let the uncomfortable feeling discourage you from seeking God? May I ask, what denomination is your church?
The Denomination is baptist.
Okay, I thought it was going to be something else...but like I said, try to get to know God better. You can read the book, "Purpose Driven Life." by Rick Warren, very good book and let's you know how God sees us and why we're here. Hope it helps.
