Why don't prophets prophecy to everyone
Extra Question Details:
I was in church and we had 3 prophets in our church at one time. These were real genuine proven prophets yet I did not receive a prophecy. Do some people need prophecy and others don't? Is it not my season?

True prophets can only prophesy when God gives them a message. The gift of prophecy is manifested by God through the Holy Spirit. If there is a message, then the message shall be given. If there is no message, then none will be said.
True prophets know they are responsible for every word that is uttered from their lips in the name of the Lord. So at times you may go where there is a prophet, but you must not feel cheated if there is no message for you. Prophets prophecy only when God moves and speaks through them.
That's why we must be cautious of false prophets who do not speak in the name of the Lord. What they speak comes from the enemy or from themselves. The word of God says, "Test all things."
That's what I figured. It just makes me wonder why there was no word for me. I was more so looking for guidance and a place to start. I did not have to receive an out of this world prophecy. Thanks for the answer it is greatly appreciated.
