As a Christian, I believe that what Muhammad taught was wrong. Also, he is never mentioned in the Bible.

The Bible is pretty clear that John The Baptist was the Last prophet of God, Proclaiming God's Kingdom at hand, not to be confused with the spiritual gift of prophecy or the office of a prophet. John the revelator describes that the next 2 prophets that will walk on this earth and proclaim God's Kingdom is at hand will be Enoch and Elijah, Either at the time of the rapture or shortly thereafter. However, There is more said in the New testament about FALSE PROPHETS that will come before the final 2 Prophets of God that will walk on this earth proclaiming the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. These false prophets like Muhammad, Buddha, Joseph Smith, Gandhi and all others, started their philosophies 600 years after Christ walked on this Earth.

I am curious if you know where the Bible states these things; I would like to read more on this topic.

If Muhammed was really a prophet of God, he would've talked about Jesus being the Son of God, and the true Messiah of the world.
But instead, he started a new religion based on himself. Anyone that does not confess that Jesus is Lord, and also denies His resurrection from the dead is not from God.
Jesus Christ the Son of God is alive!! : )

You ask why Christians don't accept Muhammud. It is because his teachings don't line up with what Christ taught. Christ's teaching lined up with what had come before, he fulfilled the prophesies but Muhummad went off on his own course and denied what Christians believed.

Jesus taught pure faith and did not rely on earthly power, but Muhammed relied on military force. The contrast is huge. So large that it cannot be possible that the God Jesus taught and the God Muhammed taught are the same person. therefore Muhammed is rejected by Christians as a false prophet. Jesus taught us to look upon God as our Father but Muhummed teaches that God is unknowable. Either you can relate to God as family or you cannot
