Extra Question Details:

My husband openly admits that he has not been praying. I have been praying for a job that allows me to make my own schedules and gives me the oppertunity to not work when I dont want to. (I am very involved with my kids school) I already received a job offer that I knew was not from God and I turned it down. Now I have an offer to teach Country, Latin, and Ballroom dancing. My husband does not like the idea! He is very insecure because in the past I have reminded him that I could find someone else..(I know not a wise or CHRISTIAN thing to do) So I no longer do that... But, I honestly feel like this was a blessing from God and he says that God would not give me a job that makes him feel uncomfortable.. I Love to dance.. I always have.. I guess you could say i am very passionate about it. So to me it makes perfect sense. Why not get paid for something that I love to do.. So that leads me to my question.. Would God provide me with an oppertunity that makes my husband uncomfortable? Under any other circumstances I would say no.. But I have been praying about this and my husband has not. Thank you! God Bless!

Your husband is not seeing this through the spirit, he is seeing it through the flesh. Jelousy belongs to the devil. It sounds like this is from God. He gives us talents for a reason, not to put it on a shelf. Remember the enemy will use anyone to try and get in the way of God's purpose. It could very well be that the enemy is putting all this doubt in your husband's mind and filling his head with lies about what may happen.

Of course the bible says we have to be submissive to our husbands, but only if they are Christians as well. Pray that God may give you a confirmation, if this job was a gift from Him. Also pray that if this was a gift from God, that He will soften your husband's heart and remove all doubt from his mind. Sometimes we have to take a leap of faith in order to get everything in order according to God's will. Good luck.
